Vicie Jones : Obituary

Mrs. Vicie “Tincie” Jane Jones, age 89 of Blue Ridge, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013 at the Life Care Center of Copper Basin.She was born April 20, 1924 to the late James Perry and Hattie Sluss Francias. She was a member of Morganton Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Earl Prince Jones and Lloyd Todd also one son Ronnie Jones.

Surviving are her children Patricia (Jerry) Musolf, Louise “Cookie” (Tommy) Hamby, Pete (Ramona) Jones, and Bobby Lee (Barbara) Jones. She also has 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 11:00 am in the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating are Dr. Tom Jordan and Pastor Delmer Davenport. Interment will be in Chastain Memorial Park. Pallbearers are grandsons: Eddie Hamby, James Jones, Mark Jones, Andy Jones, Warren Cole, Danny Jones, Chip Stewart and Trevor Wilcox. Honorary Pallbearers are: Tanner Hamby, T.J. Wilcox, Saylor Jones, Makala Jones, Shaylee Jones, Jonathan Jones, Wayne Jones, Sierra Jones, Eli Jones and Estelle Musolf.

Visitation will be at Henry-Cochran Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
