Mrs. Maudean Farmer, age 78 of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on Monday, August 12, 2013, at Fannin Regional Hospital.She was born Wednesday, November 14, 1934. Mrs. Farmer was a member and Sunday School teacher at Temple Baptist Church. She was employed by Emanuel Baptist Church as a kindergarten director.
Survivors are her husband, Gilliam Farmer of Blue Ridge, GA; son, Mr. Phillip Farmer of Blue Ridge, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and Barry Keen of McDonough, GA and Betsy and Bill Brown of Locust Grove, GA; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; cousins; relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with the Dr. Roger Beck and Rev. Hinton Harris officiating. Music will be by Beverly Thompson and Greg Norton. Interment will follow in Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery, Pallbearers will be Jeff Farmer, Joshua Keen, B.J. Brown, Benjamin Brown, Brandon Brown and Larry Nicholson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from on Tuesday, August 23. 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
