Blue Ridge Elementary School has the following events happening this month:Title I Night and our family pizza social will be on August 22nd from 5:30pm to 6:00pm.
We encourage all parents/guardians, faculty and staff to attend Title I night. Parents will have the opportunity to learn about Title I and the programs that are available because of the funding. Parents will also have the opportunity to ask questions regarding Title I.
BRES will also have Curriculum Night on August 22nd from 6:00-6:30pm.
Curriculum Night is a great opportunity to talk with all grade level teachers and find out exactly what their children will be learning this school year and projects they will have as well as the standards they will be focusing on.
BRES also has our AR (Accelerated Reader) kick off on Friday, August 23rd. Our theme this year is revolved around The Wizard of Oz. We are encouraging all students to dress as their favorite Wizard of Oz character and to participate in our costume contest and costume parade.
