Mr. Wendell Burnette Rembert, age 73, of Morganton, Georgia, passed away August 10, 2013 at his home.Mr. Rembert was born October 26, 1939 in Copperhill, TN to the late William Porter Rembert and the late Medley Faye Burnett Rembert . He was a member of the McCaysville Church God. He was preceded in death by father, William Porter Rembert, and mother, Medley Faye Rembert.

Survivors include: brother, William P. Rembert, Jr., sister, Rachel Brown, sister, Carol J. Raburn, sister, Sandra M. Rembert, nieces and nephews, Robert Wehunt, Don Carter, Buck Barkley, Steve Brown, and Craig Brown.

Funeral services: Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at 2:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Chapel with the Rev. Steve Lamb officiating.Music by: Jeanette Rismiller. Interment will follow in Church of God Cemetery. Pallbearers:Johnny Housley, Max Housley, Steve Kousky, Mack York, Otis Melton, and Tom Eades. Honorary Pallbearers: Robert Wehunt, Don Carter, Buck Barkley, Steve Brown, and Craig Brown.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, Wednesday, August 14, 2013, from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm.
