Joyce Ann Robinson : Obituary

Mrs. Joyce Ann Robinson, age 72, of Morganton, GA passed away on July 24, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family.Born in Fannin County, GA, she was the daughter of the late George and Ruth Hembree Bennett. Mrs. Robinson was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Robinson, Sr.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Shawn Carver of Morganton, GA; two sons and daughter-in-laws, Paul, Jr. and Teresa Robinson of Morganton, GA and George and Lora Robinson of Mineral Bluff, GA; brother, James Bennett of Blue Ridge, GA; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday July 27, at 3:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Delmar Davenport officiating. Music will be provided by Jimmy Ritter and the Thomas Family. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Church of Christ Cemetery with Rev. Bob Mitchell officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Seth Robinson, Zach Carver, Trey Robinson, Brady Carver, Josh Newton, Jeff Rhodes and Andrew Newton. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be James Bennett, Jr., James Daniel Bennett, Derrick Buchanan, Jason Webb and Barrett Webb.
