Pratt Beavers : Obituary

Mr. Pratt L. Beavers, age 74, of McCaysville, GA passed away July 23, 2013 at his home.Pratt was born in McCaysville, GA to the late Wiley Beavers and the late Minnie Patterson Beavers. He was a member of McCaysville Church of God. He enjoyed canning and cooking, and loved to spend time with his grandchildren. Pratt retired from Tennessee Chemical after many years of service as a miner.

He was preceded in death by wife, Peggy Ann Beaver.

Survivors include: daughter, Kimberley (Rex) Standard, daughter, Karen (Glen) Standard, daughter, Jill (Randy) Dixon, daughter, daughter, Teresa (Ronnie) Falls and Renita Smithpeters, two brothers, Fred and Charles Beavers; one sister, Sue Ledford; Grandchildren, Kandice and Courtney Standard, Leah Standard, Jacob and Kayla Standard, Ashley McDaniel, Trevor and Ivy Falls, Nate and Grace Smithpeters; and one great grandchild, Luke Shelton.

Funeral services: Finch-Cochran Funeral Home, Friday, July 26, 2013 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Jesse Sisson and. Jeff Beavers officiating. Music provided by: Dwayne Housley. Interment will follow in the Mobile Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Rex Standard, Glen Standard, Randy Dixon, Ronnie Falls, Shane Smithpeters, and Jacob Standard. Honorary pallbearers: Mark Taylor, Trevor Falls and David Shelton.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
