Robert James Fabus, age 62, of Blue Ridge, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013, at North Georgia Medical Center in Ellijay.He was a Registered Nurse Anesthetist. He was preceded in death by his parents, John P. and Frances Luznak Fabus, Step-mother, Rose Fabus, Mother-in-law, Donna Erickson, Brother, John P. Fabus, Jr., sister, Hellen Dush, Nephew, David Dush and several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his life partner, David Erickson, Sister and brother-in-law, Cathy and Bob Rice, Sister-in-law, Marlene Fabus, Brother-in-law, George Dush, Billie Dush and her children, Elayna and Erin, Nieces and nephews, Amber and Robb Rice and John Fabus, step-sons, John and Michael Erickson, three step-grandchildren, Dalton, Carmine and Austin, Brother-in-law, Pete Erickson, Sisters-in-law, Linda Heady, Paulette Peterson, Karen Holmstrom, Nancy Newsom and Peggy Krantz. Several step siblings and many other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 11 at 4:00 pm from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Min. Denise Caldwell officiating.
The family will meet with friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 PM.
