Catherine Anita Hughson, age 54 of Blairsville, GA passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at her residence in Blairsville, GA. She was born Tuesday, April 28, 1959 in Wyandotte, MI and was the daughter of the late Clyde Rhodes and Elsie Carson Rhodes. Catherine was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors are husband, Brian Hughson of Blairsville, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Jessica Hughson of Beaufort, SC and David and Rebecca Hughson of Mineral Bluff, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Lydia and Chris Cox of Blairsville, GA; ten grandchildren, Blake Hughson, Haley Parks, Katelyn Hughson, Anthney Hughson, Alexia Cox, Cayden Cox, Collin Cox, Jordan Cochran, Kaigan Mull and Taylor Mull also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Chapel located at 7871 Blue Ridge Drive Blue Ridge, GA 30513 with the Rev. Doug Payne officiating. Interment will be in Liberty Hill Methodist Church Cemetery, Morganton, GA.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, July 8, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
