William Park Sullivan : Obituary

Mr. William Park Sullivan, age 94 of Blairsville, GA passed away on Friday, June 28, 2013, at Union General Hospital in Blairsville, GA. He was born on Monday, November 18, 1918 in Townsend, TN to the late John Franklin and Millie Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan was a retired computer programmer for Lockheed in Marietta, GA. He was a member of International Order of Aeronautical Machinist. Mr. Sullivan was a member and deacon at Green Acres Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Dutton.

Survivors are his wife, Ruth Russell Sullivan of Blairsville, GA; son and daughter-in-law, William P. and Theresa Sullivan of Ellijay, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Gerry Nelms of Marietta, GA and Phyllis and Charles Turner of Blairsville, GA; sister, Ethel Moore of Dalton, GA; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Akins Funeral Home, located at 7871 Blue Ridge Drive, Blue Ridge, GA 30513. Eulogies will be by the family. Interment will be in Sugar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Blue Ridge, GA. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to the funeral hour of 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, at Akins Funeral Home.
