West Fannin Kindergarteners Graduate

Kids…they don’t stay our babies for long and that thought alone is enough to make a parent cringe but the parents of West Fannin Elementary School Kindergarteners held their head high in a bittersweet moment at the Kindergarten graduation ceremony held the last week of school.Students displayed their knowledge of the alphabet, recited poems, sang songs, expressed what their favorite part of kindergarten was and received a diploma from their teacher. While the response for their favorite part of kindergarten was very broad, the most popular response was “My favorite part of kindergarten was going to the aquarium.”

After receiving their diploma, Principal Robert Ensley thanked the parents for all of their hard work, dedication and help with various events throughout the school year. The gym was filled with applause and proud laughter as everyone made their way to the gym floor to greet their special kindergartener.

Congratulations 2013 Kindergarten students. FYN looks forward to seeing all of the wonderful accomplishments you have ahead of you in the upcoming years!
