The Fannin County High School Rebels Football team held its annual spring practice scrimmage, with a twist; instead of the traditional scoring system, nor the traditional scrimmage rules. The Rebels awarded offensive points for 20 plus yard plays, and three first downs on one drive, two points each.
The defense was able to score points via turnover, three points, or forcing a three and out, two points. Touchdowns stayed at six points, also instead of a traditional blue and white game, the Rebels all wore white, with red jerseys distinguishing between offense and defense.
The First half of the scrimmage featured the first team offense and defense scrimmaging against the second teamers, resulting in a 30 to 6 lead for the white team.
The second teamers took the field with a 30 minute running clock.
The red team staged a comeback, eventually taking a 35-30 lead, before the white team responded with six points to take the 36-35 win.
