Mr. Dale Gordon Tatman, age 60 of Murphy, passed away May 5, 2013 at Murphy Medical Center Nursing Home. Mr. Tatman was born April 10, 1953 in Georgetown, OH to Ford Tatman and the late Helen Tatman. He was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church. He owned and operated Mat Rental Services of Murphy, N.C. and enjoyed skeet shooting in his spare time along with watching college basketball, Nascar, Law and Order and NCIS on TV. Mr. Tatman lived most of his life in Dayton, Ohio where he attended school and raised his family. He lived and worked in the Murphy area since 1994 owning and operating his own linen business. He was preceded in death by mother, Helen Tatman, & brother, Austin Tatman.
Survivors include: Maria Tatman wife of 27 years, son, Patrick Tatman, daughter, Jacquelynn Tatman, father, Ford Tatman, brother & sister-in-law, Mel & Leslie Tatman, and sister, P.J. Tatman.
Funeral services: Friday, May 10, 2013 at 3:00 pm at the St. William Catholic Church with Father George Kloster officiating.
The family will receive friends at the St. William Catholic Church of Murphy, Friday, May 10, 2013 from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
