Ruth Marian Falls Daves : Obituary

Ruth Marian Falls Daves, 84, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, April 21, 2013.Mrs. Daves was the wife of the late Willis Andrew “W. A.” Daves and the daughter of the late Edgar Everett Falls and Zola Alice Nichols Falls. Mrs. Daves was a cashier in the grocery industry and a bookkeeper for her husband’s business, Daves Brothers Tractor Co. She was a member of the Wilscot Baptist Church of Morganton, GA.

Survivors include two beloved daughters, Paula Daves Patterson and her husband Mark of Lyman, SC and Lori Daves Clayton and her husband Dale of Morganton, GA; three grandsons, Kaleb Mark Patterson, Andrew Dale “Drew” Clayton and Chandler Matthew Clayton; two granddaughters, Amber Lea Patterson and Chelsea Nicole Patterson; two brothers, Robert Falls and his wife Maxine of Maryville, TN and Bill Falls and his wife Johanna of Gainesville, GA.; four sisters, Suella Harcrow of Calhoun, GA, Betty Brakebill of Cleveland, TN, Louise Roberts and her husband Fritz of Davie, FL and Lynda Hunnicutt of Chattanooga, TN; and 20 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank and Howard Falls.

Memorial service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, April 27 officiated by Eric Davenport at Wilscot Baptist Church, 121 C And C Drive, Morganton, GA 30560. Light refreshments will be served immediately following the service in the fellowship hall where the family will receive friends.
