WFES February & March Student Events

West Fannin Elementary school announces February and March Students of the Month. Also the WFES Character Ed word for the month of March was Optimism.The Character Ed word for the month of March was Optimism. The definition we used was “An attitude of expecting the best in all things; knowing everything will turn out for the best; being hopeful and positive no matter what is going on around you.” These students were chosen as this month’s winners because they consistently demonstrate these qualities. Congratulations to all of you!

Pictured are the February winners for the Student of the Month program. Students are nominated based on work effort, completion of assignments, regular school attendance, behavior, and character. One student per grade level is chosen each month. Front row left to right: Kindergarten – Sadie Thomas; 1st Grade – Macy Hawkins; 2nd grade – Stephen Chambers. Back row left to right:3rd grade – Christalee Rios-Espinoza; 4th grade – Samantha Rosas; 5th grade – Dade Montgomery. Students received a free Kid’s Meal from Wendy’s.
