Mrs. Edna May Earley, age 68 of Andrews, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the Murphy Medical Center.Mrs. Earley was born June 16, 1944 in Robbinsville, NC to the late Floyd and Inez Brown Millsaps. A member of the Valleytown Baptist Church, she enjoyed singing and playing with her beloved dog Muffins. She belonged to the singing group Deliverance.
Survivors include her loving husband, Coy Earley, son, Robert Jones, son, Chris Jones, brother, Jewell Millsaps, sister, Emor Waldrop and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. James Phillips and Rev. Richard Davis officiating. Music provided by Deliverance. Interment will follow in the Old Mother Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Wade Hamby, Jimmy Cable, James Patterson, Marty Millsaps, Richard Waldrop, and Rex Waldrop. Honorary Pallbearer is David Millsaps.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Sunday from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm.
