BRES Visits The Sweet Shop

Mrs. Brand, Mrs. Raven, and Mrs. Brisbay brought their students on a community based instruction fieldtrip to The Sweet Shop. Nikki Gribble and Susan Catron were wonderful hosts during this field trip. They had a fantastic learning experience. All the students were able to take a tour of the shop and help participate in making cupcakes. They learned the process of making cupcakes and step by step instructions. Several learning skills and concepts were involved. They were taught how to sort the ingredients, measure all of the ingredients, and following step by step instructions to make delicious cupcakes. All of the students were able to enjoy one of the delicious cupcakes they made! This was a great learning experience for all the students and they had a great time!
