James Walden : Obituary

Mr. James Crayton Walden, age 59, of McCaysville, who passed away February 14, 2013 at his work. Mr. Walden was born July 5, 1953 in McCaysville, GA to James Walden and Bernice Hughes Walden . A member of McCaysville Church of God. Crayton enjoyed weight lifting, video games, working on cars. He was a worker and a helper to everyone.

Survivors include: wife, Teresa Walden; one son and wife, Crayton “Daniel” and Misty Walden; two step-sons, Phillip (Meshelle) Putnam and Jamie (Annette) Putnam; one sister, Renee Payne, one brother, Dale Walden; grandchildren, Jesse Walden, Christopher Walden, Lexus Walden and Alesha Walden; step-grandchildren, Shane Putnam, Abigale Putnam, Isabella Putnam, Kennan Putnam, and Zoe Putnam. .

Funeral services: Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev, Doug Nave officiating. Music provided by: Phillip Putnam. Interment will follow in Copper Ridge Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Corey Payne, James Walden, Dale Jackson, Johnny Kyle Gary Swinson, and Bill Blomeley.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, Monday, February 18, 2013 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
