Fire & Ice Chili Cook Off

The wind was cold and snow flurries were flying at the 3rd Annual Fire & Ice Chili Cook off in beautiful Downtown Blue Ridge, GA.A large crowd enjoyed a live band and were also entertained with the ice carvers and beautiful ice sculptures up and down the street during the 3rd Annual Fire & Ice Chili Cook off. Public chili tasting was between 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday Feb 16th and the great tasting chili really hit the spot on a very “chilly” day!

Each entry had a unique offering and even though it was quite cold it was well worth it to have the chance to taste all the wonderful variations of chili. Some spicy and sweet and others just a little hot but all delicious. Some of our favorites were from Grillin Gangsters and Musical Toot Chile but the one walking away with 1st place was Blue Ridge Brewery. Congratulations to all the chili competitors because it was all extremely delicious.
