Kenneth Amos Cross, age 76, of Chatsworth, GA passed away Friday, January 25, 2013.Mr. Cross was a native of the Copper Basin area and was a son of the late Amos and Ora Swanson Cross. He was of the Holiness Faith and a Veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by daughters, Louise Bates, Yvonne (David) Jones and Angela (Chris) Sampson, all of Chatsworth, GA; brothers, Quinn Cross of Turtletown, TN, Randall Cross of Isabella, TN; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 26th at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Mike Jarrett officiating. Music will be by Pam & Nathan Ensley. Pallbearers include Andrew Bates, Tony Cross, Jason Hawkins, Arnold Cross, Mike Allen and Lee Dockery. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem cemetery with military honors conducted by the North Georgia Honor Guard.
