James Olin Wilson, age 87 of Morganton, GA passed away on Friday, January 11, 2013 at the Veterans Medical Center in Augusta, GA. He was born on July 5, 1925 in Fannin County, GA to the late Herman Everett Wilson and Leitha Mashburn Wilson. Mr. Wilson retired from Sisson’s Building Supply. He was of the Methodist Faith. Mr. Wilson served his country in the United States Navy.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James and Thyra Wilson of Morganton, GA; sister Maggie Brackett of Blairsville, GA; grandchildren, James Herman Wilson, Jeremy Stephen Wilson and Charlotte Long and great-grandchildren, Joshua, Robert, Shawn, Virgil, Ginger and Amber.
Graveside services were at Hemptown cemetery on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge was in charge of the arrangements.
