The Fannin and Gilmer County Veterans Organizations held their 71st Pearl Harbor Commemorative Memorial Ceremony this year on Friday, December 7, 2012, at the Ellijay Veterans Memorial.Colonel Pletcher conducted the POW/MIA portion of the ceremony and Richard Crosley presented the keynote address.
The North Georgia Honor Guard did the 21-gun salute and TAPS.
Three WWII Veterans were in attendance: C.E. Dale, George Andrian, and Robert Brown.
