Magalean Virginia Eller : Obituary

The Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill announces the death of Magalean Virginia Eller, age 78, of Jasper, GA, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012 in the Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Mrs. Eller was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Alice May Payne Hughes. She was retired from the Diamond Carpet Mills in Dalton, GA and was of the Church of God Faith.

She is survived by her husband, Lamar Eller of Jasper, GA; son, Lee Roy (Joann) Hamby of Chatsworth, GA; brother, Charles Hughes of Chatsworth, GA; brother-in-law, Freddy Eller; sisters-in-law, Barbara Wigginton and Shirley Hughes. Three grandchildren, Diana Hamby, Teena McCollum, Kristie Rizer; Great grandchildren, Zachary Norris, Abriana, Colton and Carissa McCollum, Jacob Rizer; a large number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 2nd, at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Chris Lawson and Rev. Johnny Fortner officiating. Music will be by Kelly Smith. Pallbearers include Zachary Norris, Mike Hughes, Earl Hughes, Dennis Johnson, Bobby Johnson, Eric Norris, Jacob Rizer, Jamie Rizer and John Hughes. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Copperhill, TN.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
