Fannin County High School FFA members competed in the area 1 Environmental Natural Resources Career Development Event which was held on October 1 at Chattahoochee Technical College in Acworth.

The team competed in an identification practicum, management exam, and a GPS practicum. They ranked gold and placed 2nd this earned them the right to compete in the state competition which will be held at ABAC in Tifton on December 1st.

Their FFA advisor is Rhonda Mathews.
