During this season of reflection and family, Your Blue Ridge Community Theater is taking the time to look back over the last year. In a time where the struggles of the economy have meant a drop in donations we have managed to move forward and keep our doors open. With the addition of our Live Music is Better concert series, and the continuation of our Sunny D and Main Stage productions, we have had over 100 nights of performances! We have also been blessed with the addition of many faces both on stage and off that have now become familiar and beloved members of our volunteers.
Another addition to our theater this year has been our Community Benefit nights. We have teamed up with other non-profits and charities to give back to the community that have supported us over the years. For our holiday production of Over the River and Through the Woods, we have joined with Snack in a Backpack. On November 29th a percentage of all ticket and concession sales will be donated by the theater to help fight child hunger in Fannin County.
Come out and support you local theater this weekend! Over the River and Through the Woods is running this Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 with a Sunday matinee at 2:00. It is the perfect play to bring your whole family and get into the holiday spirit. Tickets and other information can be found at out box office located at:
