Light Up Blue Ridge, Downtown Blue Ridge
Saturday, the 24th, Blue Ridge had an old-fashioned holiday celebration downtown.
The day started off with Tuba Christmas performing in the morning, then Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus arrived on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. The parade followed. There were various events throughout the day as well. Trackless train rides around town, live reindeer and much more! The lighting of the tree was followed by live music from 7 to 8 p.m. Downtown shops were open late.
