Jackie Murphy Westcott : Obituary

Mrs. Jacquelyn “Jackie” Murphy Westcott, age 50, of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away November 19, 2012, at her residence. She had worked for a number of years as a Registered Nurse. Jackie loved traveling to the Virgin Islands. She and her family attended the Blue Ridge United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband Todd Westcott; daughter, Jessica Westcott both of the home; parents, Roland and Linda Murphy of Meridian, MI; brother, Chip Murphy of Meridian, MI; aunts and uncles, Phillip and Kathy Murphy of Athens, GA and Sandra Burton of Meridian, MI; and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Graveside Services will be on Friday November 23 at 4:00 pm at the Chastain Memorial Park with Rev. Doug Burrell officiating.

The family will meet with friends at the funeral home from 2 until 4 pm on Friday before the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society in Blue Ridge c/o Robbie Muschamp at P.O. Box 2126 Blue Ridge, GA 30513. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
