Dr. Tim Whitaker enjoyed an award presentation for his service with Fannin County Emergency Services, after a wonderful breakfast this morning at the Fannin County Fire Department.
Whitaker will be moving to upstate New York after 8 years of service in Fannin County and will obviously be greatly missed. However the entire crew gave a warm welcome to Dr. Miller who will be taking Whitaker’s place.
Everyone gathered outside and surrounded Whitaker for a “going away” photo that Mrs. Whitaker said would be enlarged and placed on the wall in their home, something the Whitakers had promised their children they would do as a memorial to the time they cherished in Fannin County.
