Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy announces the passing of Louise Virginia Hogan of Brasstown who passed away at Murphy Medical Center Nursing Home Tuesday September 4, 2012.Mrs. Hogan was the daughter of the late Lee Coker and Lelia Carringer Coker. Also preceded in death by Husbands Troy Ledford and Burt Nelson Hogan, Jr. brothers Von, Dillard, and Willard Coker.
She is survived by son L. B. Ledford and wife Wanda Gay of Brasstown, son Thomas Hogan and wife Diana of Chatsworth, Ga. son Harry Hogan of Andrews, N. C. daughter Jeanie Bailey and hubsand Lester of Sharpsburgh, Ga. Sister Betty Jean Hogan of Brasstown, N. C. Six Grandchildren, Twelve Great Grandchildren, and One Great-Great Grandchild. Also many nieces, nephews, and Friends.
The Funeral service will be Friday, September 7, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Little Brasstown Baptist Church with Rev.Aud Brown officiating, Burial to follow in Church Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers are Charles Hogan, Nathan Stanfield, Rod Scott, Jud Baker, Tripp Ledford, and Daniel Burrell.
The visitation will be Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home.
