Wesley “Tuey” Stewart McNelley : Obituary

Mr. Wesley ” Tuey” Stewart McNelley, age 61, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away September 4, 2012. Born in Fannin County, GA he was the son of the late John Wesley and Mildred Foster McNelley. He retired from Lockheed of Marietta, GA after many years of service. Mr. McNelley was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle.

Survivors include his wife Doris Anderson McNelley of the home; daughter and son, Elizabeth and Brian Garrett of Murfreesboro, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Yvonne McNelley of Blue Ridge, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Jackie and Eddie Watkins of Marietta, GA.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday September 6, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J.T. Padgett and Rev. Dutch Scott officiating. Interment will follow in the McKinney Family Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Don Millsaps, Tommy Millsaps, Buddy Temple, Joel Canada, Eugene Earley, John Wayne McCoy, and Marty Moore. Johnny Tranthom and Cecil Seabolt will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6-9 p.m.
