Howell Kyser Teasley, 70 of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Aug. 22, 2012, in Marietta, GA. Born in Elberton, GA he was the son of the late Clyde and Nancy Teasley. He was a retired accountant for Lockheed in Marietta. Mr. Teasley was a member of the Temple Baptist Church. Howell’s life was changed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ and he lived out that message in his life- he was committed to reconciliation with God in his own heart and to reconciling relationships here on Earth. Howell, along with his late wife, Jane Mallonee Teasley, were founding members of the Mountain Area Christian Academy. He also had served on the Board of Luther Rice Seminary.

Survivors include: daughter, Pamela (Robert E.) Dobbins; son, Sam (Michelle) Teasley; grandchildren, Phillipp Dobbins, Kimberley Dobbins, Katherine Travis, Sara Emily Dobbins, Nathan Howell Teasley, Joshua Kyser Teasley and Laura Christine Teasley; brother, Wynn Teasley; sisters, Kay Bledsoe and Jane Peets.

Funeral Services were held Saturday August 25, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from the Temple Baptist Church in Morganton, GA with Dr. Roger Beck and Rev. Jim Lowry officiating. Interment followed in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Franklin, NC. Donations in memory of Mr. Teasley may be made to the Mountain Area Christian Academy at 14090 Old Hwy. 76 Morganton, GA 30560.
