Blue Ridge 4th of July Parade had a large turn out even though Saturday saw record highs. The streets were lined as the colorful Parade made its way down by the Blue Ridge City Park. The parade was led by Police and Fire Department followed by beautifully decorated vehicles with plenty of Red, White, & Blue displays. There was also a lively colorful band and several political candidates.
Despite record heat everyone had a lot of fun and kids enjoyed the candy & beads thrown from the parade and also enjoyed brief water shots from those carrying water guns!
