Mrs. Myrl Kinkead Warren, age 77 of Hiawassee, passed away Saturday evening, June 23, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Warren was born February 25, 1935 in Bristol, TN to Harry and Alice Gaither Kinkead. Colonel and Mrs. Warren have been residents of Towns County for the past 22 years, moving here from the Atlanta area where she had been a teacher in the Cobb and Henry County School Systems.
Survivors include: husband, Col. James A. Warren, USA (Ret.) of Hiawassee, son, Daniel Lee Warren, also of Hiawassee, son, James Michael Warren of Levanworth, KS, sisters, Donna Dawson, Jackie Proctor, and Shirley Fambrough, all of Rocky Mount, NC, and grandchildren, Jeremy Warren, Melissa Warren, and Cristin Johnson. 4 great grandchildren also survive.
Memorial Services will be scheduled at a latter date.
