Mrs. Clarise Carney Dillard, age 84 of Mineral Bluff, passed away June 19, 2012.Mrs. Dillard was born July 10, 1927 in Cherokee County, NC to the late Edgar and Maudie Clore Carney. Clarise was a life long resident of Fannin county and attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by son, Paul Dillard, brother, Kenneth Carney, brother, Winfred Carney, granddaughter, Tammy Ware Arp, husband, Charlie Dillard.
Survivors include: daughter, Charlene (John) Singleton, daughter, Frankie Jo (Edward) Ware, daughter, Jeanie (E.L.) Ware, son, Allen (Darlene) Dillard, sister, Grace Groves, sister in law, Jenny (Charlie) Morrison, 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, numerous nieces & nephews, and a multitude of friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
