Jim Garon Coone : Obituary

Jim G. Coone, age 74 of East Ridge, TN passed away Monday, June 11, 2012 in the Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.Mr. Coone is surived by his wife, Janice Lay Coone, who he married in 1958, of East Ridge, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Cathryn Coone-McCrary and Joe McCrary of Acworth, GA; daughter-in-law, Sonja Coone of Fort Ogelthorpe, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Butch and Cindy Coone of Adalusia, AL; sisters-in-law, Mary Lay Marks of Murrayville, GA and Dottie Lay and her husband Jimmy Lay of Clayton, GA; grandchildren, James Matthew Coone of Fort Ogelthorpe, GA and Maya Mohan of Raleigh, NC.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from First Baptist Church of Blue Ridge.

Mr. Coone will lie in state at the church from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
