Chester Thomas Jones : Obituary

Chester Thomas Jones, age 75 of Blue Ridge, passed away May 24, 2012 at his residence. Chester was born November 20, 1937 in Fayette Co., GA to the late William King Jones and the late Susie Smith Jones. A member of New Testament Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and reading in his spare time. Mr. Jones was retired from the Mclean Trucking Company. He was preceded in death by Father, William King Jones, Mother, Susie Smith, brother, Manson Jones, brother, William K. Jones “Bill”, sister, Kathleen Jones Russell.

Survivors include: daughter, Jonnie Crisp, daughter, Gina Gill, daughter, Sheri Kriesch, brother, J. Lee (Effie) Jones, sister, Pat (Burnice) Carden, sister in law, Edith Jones, 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations are being requested in honor of his great grandchildren to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at 150 N. Michigan, Ave. #400, Chicago, Il. 60601 or to Baptist International Missions Inc. at P.O. Box 9215, Chattanooga, TN. 37412.
