Fannin County Fire & EMS repond to a serious 2-car accident on Spur 60. According to Fannin County Fire/Rescue Fire Chief, Larry Thomas, on May 12th, Med 1. Med 11. Med 4. Engine 2. Rescue 2. & Rescue 1. with 21 personnel were dispatched to a 2 vehicle accident with injuries. The accident occurred in the area of the 700 block of Spur 60 Murphy Hwy. Units arrived on the scene to find two vehicles with people trapped in both, extrication tools, Jaws of Life, were used to free the patients from both vehicles.
Three patients were flown from the area of the accident. One patient was transported to Fannin Regional Hospital. The call came in at 3:36pm and units arrived at 3:39pm and were cleared at 5:47pm. FetchYourNews.com will update as soon as additional information becomes available.
