The Fannin County High School Rebels soccer team fell to Jackson 6-2 in the Region 8-AA Tournament. Both the girls’ and boys’ tennis teams fell in the first round. The boys baseball team was swept in the first round by North Oconee County, 7-0 and 10-0. The Rebels track team fared far better, placing six individuals in the upcoming sectional tournament. Madison Franklin was the female region champion in the 400 Meter Run. Mallory Arp, and Cheyenne Golden placed second and fourth respectively in the 800 Meter run. Karlie Thompson placed second in the Discus.
Blake Henry placed second in the Long Jump, and Will Patterson placed third in the 110 Meter High Hurdles.
