Harry Lee Teems, age 65 of Hayesville, went home to be with his Lord Friday, April 13, 2012 after a battle with cancer. He was of the Baptist Faith and was a lifelong resident of Clay County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Georgia Ann Watkins Teems and Conley Teems, Brother, Robert Teems, granddaughter, Hannah Lee, son, Paul Lee and former wife, Shirley.
He is survived by Brothers: Donald, Tom, Allen, and Leon, sisters, Betty Chance and Barbara Brumbley, daughter, Crystal Blankenship, 3 grandchildren, Hunter, Christen and Ashton, a step-son, Roy Guffey and his two children, a step-daughter, Sharon Hogsed and her three children, many nieces and nephews, 3 personal adopted sons, William, Stephen and Michael Donaldson and “the love of his life”, his wife, Jeanette Donaldson Teems.
Harry’s Passions were working on old cars, horseback riding, camping, gardening and the love of his music. He could play any instrument that he came in contact with.
