The Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge announces the death of Mrs. Angela Ann Gibson, age 47, of Douglasville, GA who passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA. She was of the Baptist Faith. Angela was preceded in death by her father, James Earl Anderson and brother, Mike Anderson.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Gibson of Douglasville, GA; mother, Lora Vee Anderson of Woodstock, GA; two daughters, Angela Kay Lane and husband Josh, Mindy Marie Millwood both of Acworth, GA; three sisters, Shirley Simmons of Woodstock, GA; Janice Boyer of Acworth, GA and Rebecca Tison of Woodstock, GA; one brother, Kenneth Anderson of New Market, TN; three grandchildren, Devin, Levi and Kaytlyn.

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, March 26, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. from the Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Billy Ray Queen officiating.

The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Monday, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help defray final expenses.
