Fetch Fitness Challenge: Week 11

January 3, 2012 Brian K. Pritchard weighed 256 lbs.Eleven weeks and 16 lbs later Brian continues to share with everyone his journey to not only losing weight but also making a lifestyle change. With more physical activity and a healthier diet he is improving his overall health.

The last 10 weeks we have talked about workouts and how to use equipment found in the gym properly.

But what constitutes a healthier diet? No sugar? Skipping meals?

Watch the video below to hear Amy Woodring of Ellijay Fitness Center explain how your body needs fuel to live and how your body will react when it is deprived of necessary nutrients and will go into starvation mode.

And remember that your commitment to weight loss requires more than a week or two. It may take months or even longer to achieve your goals. By taking it slow and listening to what your body needs you can still be on track for your weight loss goals.
