Polk County Sheriff’s Office Report Man Struck by Train in Ocoee

On 3-10-2012 officers of the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a man being struck by a train near the 3000 blk of Highway 411 in Ocoee, TN. Upon emergency services arrival it was found that the victim, Russell Ball Jr. of Fayetteville AR, had been struck by a southbound CSX train while he was walking on the railroad tracks. The accident was located at RR milepost 353 in Ocoee. No further information is being provided until the notification of immediate family.
