The Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville announces Memorial Services for Mr. William “Bill” R Holland, age 84, of Blairsville who passed away Friday, February 10, 2012 at his home.
He will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him, but especially missed by his family: Wife of 34 years, Kathleen ” Kitty” Holland of Blairsville; Daughters, Jan Marilyn Akeyson and Robin Alecia Slagle; Daughter & Son-in-Law, Geri & Neil Brady; Daughter & Son-in-Law, Kathy & James Bakken; Son & Daughter-in-Law, Geoffrey & Michelle Baylis; Son, Christopher Baylis; Sister & Brother-in-Law, Mary Elizabeth & Glen Bell; Grandsons: Cameron Patrick Slagle, Jason Baylis, Cody Baylis, Garrett Baylis, and Evan Baylis and Granddaughters: Dagney Justine Akeyson, Heather Kristin Hogreve and Wendy Lussenheide.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 from the Rock Chapel of First Baptist Church in Blairsville with Dr. Fred Lodge and Rev. Danny Parris officiating. Special Music will be provided by Rev. R. Terry Hooper. The Boaz – Jesse Sunday School will serve as Honorary Escort to the family.
