Linda S. Bennett 66, passed away November 21, 2011, at her home. Linda is preceded in death by her parents Norman and Betty Merriman, and her brother, Les Merriman.
She leaves her husband James, two daughters, Jennifer Bennett-Payne and husband Jerry, and Stephanie Bennett, three grandchildren, Trevor, Lila, and William, her sister Ester Brunson and her husband Emmett. Many loving nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Linda and James moved to Hayesville over thirty years ago to raise their girls. Linda was a very loving mother, grandmother and aunt, she will be missed so much. She was just the greatest person. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hinton Center where the girls worked in Linda’s honor.
