Weldon Burlin “Mouse” Ash : Obituary

The Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge announces the death of Mr. Weldon Burlin Ash, affectionately known to family and friends as “Mouse”, age 95 of McCaysville, GA who passed away Sunday, November 20, 2011 in Fannin Regional Hospital in Blue Ridge, GA. Mr. Ash was born in Higdon, GA on November 28, 1915 to the late George and Emma Williamson Ash. He was of the Baptist Faith and a construction worker. Mr. Ash was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Bell Ash.

He is survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from the Hipps Chapel with Rev. Delmar Davenport officiating. Music will be by Hipps Chapel Church Choir. Pallbearers will be Roger Ash, Tommy Ash, Danny Ash, Dellon Ash, Gary Ash, Larry McMillen and J. Mark Burger. Interment will follow in the Hipps Chapel Community Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening, November 21, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge is in charge of arrangements.
