Hoke Thomas Jones, Jr., age 60, of McCaysville, Ga., died Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tenn.He was born in Polk County, Tennessee, June 7, 1951, son of the late Hoke and Ophie Stewart Jones. He was the former owner of Blue Ridge Telephone Company now TDS Telephone Co., and was a member of First Baptist Church of Blue Ridge.

He is survived by two sisters, Jerrie (Jones) Merritt of Blue Ridge, Ga. and Sondra (Jones) Koenig of Palm Springs, Calif.; one niece and one nephew.

Funeral service will be at St. Lukes Episcopal Church at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 10, 2011, Rev. Victor Morgan officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Thursday at the church. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneral.com
