Mrs. Eunice Lucille Brackett, age 84 of Blue Ridge, passed away October 18, 2011 at Heritage Health Care of Blue Ridge.Mrs. Brackett was born May 18, 1927 in Pickens, GA to the late J.C. Hubbard and the late Estelle Darnelle Hubbard. A member of Blue Ridge First Baptist Church for sixty three years, a former Sunday school teacher and also served as secretary of departments for the church. She enjoyed cooking and caring for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include: husband, Charles Brackett, son and daughter in law, Robert & Lou Brackett, son and daughter in law, John and Linda Brackett, granddaughter, Bonnie Alice Brackett, grandson, Christopher George Brackett, grandson, Michael Richardson, sister, Tinnie Stargel, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 12:00 pm at the Blue Ridge First Baptist with the Rev. Charlie Howell & Rev. Bob Hoggard officiating. Music provided by Imogene Stewart. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Wednesday, October 19, 2011 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
