Ruth Jones : Obituary

Ruth Tallent Jones, age 95, of Spartanburg, SC, formerly of McCaysville, Georgia, passed away October 5, 2011 at Spartanburg Hospice Home.She was a member of the First Baptist Church of McCaysville/Copperhill. Ruth was a wonderful fun loving person with a great sense of humor. She loved her family and enjoyed crafts and flowers.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Grady F. Jones; parents, Oscar Tallent and Ethel Adeline Howard Tallent; brother, William Gus Tallent; sisters, Blanche Howard, and Doris Bell Wininger.

Survivors include: daughter& Son-in-law, Ginger & Geary Queen of Spartanburg, SC; two grandchildren, Andrew Geary Queen, and Michael Gray Queen both of Spartanburg, SC.

Funeral services: Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will visit with family and friends from 12:00 p.m. until time of service. Interment will follow in the Crestlawn Cemetery.
