Mr. T. J. Cearley : Obituary

Mr. T. J. Cearley, age 66, of Chatsworth passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2011 at the Chatsworth Health Care Center.

T. J. was preceded in death by his mother, Vesta Thomas Cearley; his father, James Cearley; and other family members.

He is survived by his wife, Gina Cearley of Chatsworth; step-sons, Sgt. Christopher Phillips of Spartanburg, SC, Tony Taylor of Chatsworth, and Keith Taylor of Young Harris; step-daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer Phillips and Michael Scott of Chatsworth and Pam and Larry Owens of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Brittany Walls, Zachary Lumpkin, and Dalyn Hall; nieces; nephews; and cousins.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of T. J. will be held at 2:00 p. m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Blairsville. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p. m. until 9:00 p. m. on Tuesday and at the church from noon until the funeral hour on Wednesday.

Peeples Funeral Home and Crematory of Chatsworth is in charge of the arrangements.
