Ford Logan, age 83, of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away September 24, 2011 at the Clay County Care Center in Hayesville.Ford was born March 2, 1928 in Union County, to the late Joe and Sallie Logan. He was a lifelong resident of Union County and had attended Bethel United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by a sister, Blanche Johnson, brother, Bob Logan, Niece, Betty Reid and Nephew, Doug Johnson
Survivors include: niece, JoAnn Brown of Tucker, Georgia, step-niece, Paulette (Aubrey) Dyer of Blairsille and step-nephew, Troy Whitt of Blairville.
Graveside services are scheduled for Monday, September 26, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Bethel Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Young officiating.
The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville.
The following gentlemen have been requested to serve as pallbearers: Anthony Bohanon, Frank Alexander, Harold Collins, Jerry Cook, Troy Whitt and Aubrey Dyer.
