Mrs. Hilda Burnette, age 74, of Blue Ridge, Georgia passed away September 15, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Burnette was born January 17, 1937 in McCaysville, GA to the late Thomas Clark and Othella Smith Boling. She was Methodist in faith and she was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Wallace Boling and one sister, Jeanette Quintrell.
Survivors include: husband, Royce Burnette, brother, Jimmy Boling, sister, Jean Johnson, several nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 7:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend James Mitchell and Reverend David Anderson officiating. Interment will be held 9:00 am, Sunday, September 18, 2011 at the Crestlawn Cemetery. The gentlemen serving as Pallbearers will be Hilda’s nephews, Chris Johnson, Scott Johnson, Brian Boling, Tommy Boling, David Boling and Mitchell Boling.
The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, Saturday from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm before the service.
